A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include pixels, tags and local storage. This page explains which of them electblinds.com uses and how you can control them.

1. Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the website to work and cannot be switched off in our systems.

• PHPSESSID - keeps your session while you complete the quote request form and validates the security token that protects the form against cross-site request forgery. It expires when you close the browser.

2. Analytics

If analytics is active on the Site, we use it to count visits, see which pages are read, and understand how people move through the content. The data is aggregated and is used to improve the Site, not to identify you.

• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_<id>) - distinguishes visitors and sessions. Typical lifetime up to 24 months.

3. Advertising and conversion measurement

We may advertise our signage services on search and display networks. Advertising technologies record that a visit or a form submission followed an ad, so that we can measure which campaigns are worth continuing.

• Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags - measure conversions and may be used to show our ads to people who have visited the Site. Typical lifetime up to 90 days for conversion linking.

You can control personalized advertising in your Google account settings, and you can opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies through the industry opt-out pages operated by the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.

4. Third-party resources

The Site loads web fonts from Google Fonts so that headings and body text render as designed. When the font files are requested, your IP address is visible to that service. No cookie is set by the font request itself.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

• Safari - Settings, Privacy, Manage Website Data;
• Firefox - Settings, Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data;
• Edge - Settings, Cookies and site permissions.

Blocking all cookies is possible, but the quote request form relies on the session cookie described in section 1; if it is blocked, the form may refuse the submission and ask you to reload the page.

6. Do Not Track

Browsers send Do Not Track signals in different and inconsistent ways, and there is no accepted standard for responding to them. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law.
